Another Mopar Off My Bucket List - Barracuda Fastback

I've been plugging away in the driveway tonight (the 2 360s are taking up the garage space). After rigging a large washer to aid in mounting the antenna mast I tried to figure out why the radio wasn't working. It is getting power and a good ground so I figure it's toasted. - No lights. - No static. - No buzz. I think I may have a used pickup AM/FM out at our farm still. I'll have to look tomorrow.

While I had the instrument bezel off I thought I'd better replace the dash bulbs. - There was only one working yet. I discovered that they weren't burnt out. They were missing. The twist in sockets were missing too. Luckily I had a supply of spares on hand. I probably should have installed L.E.D.s but I forgot where I have them stashed. At any rate, the gauges are readable at night now and my turn signal indicators function.

It would have been nice to get all of the clearance lights working but the mosquitoes chased me back in the house.

When I go out to the farm tomorrow I'll try to remember to look for a cap for the overflow tank. There should be an old one from the 'Lil Red. - I'd bought a new tank/cap for it.

I decided to order a vacuum tester from JEGS. If I don't continue making an effort with the Barracuda it'll become buried by other projects.
