Summit Electric Cutout Kits Beware!

Once again, a personal attack. Come on...yes, he doesn't like cut outs. Period.

What are you expecting to achieve with the last dig ? Another response ?

I'm just simply stating my opinion. My opinion should have no merit. This is the freakin internet. people are gonna irritate people and say things others don't like. It's going to go both ways. That's just how it is. Do I want another response? No. Will he respond. I'm sure he will. I'm just glad that someone else at least acknowledged that he came in here looking for it.

Clinteg, I hope what you learned from this fun time with cutouts is, mockup. I've been there before, excited about the new parts and rushing the job to get it done only to realize, whoops, I screwed that up. Oh well, that's one way to learn. In the end it turns out and you take away something you didn't know before.

Rusty was trying to help you, listen to his message, not his opinions. He does have a warm charming personality.

Yes, late late night, rushing to get things ready, probably not thinking clearly. Like I said before, I'm going to trip up and I just have to learn the hard way.

Rusty WAS NOT trying to help in any way when he made his presence in here. He didn't try to start helping until I called him out. And I stated that I appreciated his help when he did but his first comment was of no help at all and that he should take his opinion elsewhere. That's all. And now it's escalated into one of these this little spats that I have avoided since I joined here. I've talked to the guy on the phone 2 or 3 times before. He seemed like a great guy, knowledegable, from what he told me had been there since the beginnings of the drag wars in the 60's IIRC. I had no issues whatsoever with the guy and wouldn't mind another conversation about his early years. I truly enjoyed hearing about that stuff. Although he kinda screwed me around telling me that he wanted about $600-$700 worth of parts I was selling, strung me out for some time while I turned other interested parties away, and then said he didn't want any of it anymore. I'm not sour about it. I sold the parts later anyhow. But he seemed like a genuine guy. It's just that I was already irritated with a lot of things and his initial comment just set me off a little. This whole build is taking it's toll on me and I'm lashing out more than I normally would. So to hopefully end this all so we can all be a happy community here, Rusty I apologize I lashed out and I will make no further negative comments toward you.

I will say this, summit has never asked one question when I had to return something. they sent me a new part , and a return shipping label with it to send my other part back.

that's all I got

It's been that way in the past for me. I don't have problems with their returns. It was just the fact that their product really isn't just a plug and play system like some other systems and they tell you "not our problem". That's all.
