So long, Tony Stewart

I'm not a fan of NASCAR, let alone any type of circle track racing.
I just watched the video and in my opinion he tried to avoid hitting him.
Tony was going as slow as the driver in front of him and when the Ward kid ran down in front of him it's obvious that Tony goosed it to keep from hitting him as the rear of the car actually went left, away from Ward. I think the kid just got too close and as the cars rear came back it snagged him.

Terrible tragedy that could've been avoided if the kid stayed in his rig and cooled off a little.

That's what I saw too.

Ward should not have been on the track. You don't chase after lions and bears. It's too dangerous. You shouldn't walk on a race track even under yellow. He put himself in harms way.

I have an extremely bad temper also. Runs in our family. I used to get plaster for Christmas to repair the holes that I put in the walls of our house when I was 4 years old. I've learned to control my temper as I got older. Those guys need to grow up and act like adults. Take time to cool off so you don't go off and do something that you will regret later. Their anger and tempers got the best of them and now there are many regrets....

My dad used to tell me, "The only one that wins in a bar fight are the lawyers..." He was right, the best thing to do is walk away, no matter how strongly that you feel you are right.
