New cam/old cam question

Well, what "I" myself would so is try the XE268. The cams duration works in the 1800-5800 rpm range and doesn't require extra stall from the converter. In other words, mello enough to work ok without issues with a stock trans set up.

Considering your running the 5spd, it should be a real easy in traffic.
I would certainly ask this cam be given that slight adjustment the tech mentioned from a 110 to a 112.
