It is amazing that Ford fans will build the snot out of a 302 & MoPar guys disrespect a 318 like its a Chevy motor. The 318 should have no problem spanking the 302.
"Should"...... but it doesn't. I'd have to dig into numbers to form a strong argument but I think the 302 is a larger bore space, bore, and cylinder head layout. I can think of a single turbo SBF that makes around 2000 in a SS 10.5 tire mustang. The sbf is crazy!!
