1969 Dart Street/Strip (Re)Build

im sure someone will correct me on this if im wrong but the whine from the rear is caused by how the pinion is engaged into the ring gear, it can be because the gears are engaging too much or not enough, but i was always told it never hurts to be a little deep but you dont want the gears to be riding on the edge. did you pattern the ring and pinion?

I had a shop do it and they said that they liked the way it was set up. I can only take their word on that. Just think it's weird how it's really only noticeable on deceleration
