mosquito issues which is best

citronella would be great, problem is i have 2 kids,ages 7 and 8 that dont leave anything the F@@K alone. i can see myself coming home from work, and those oily citronella candles in the glass candle thingys will be either broken, or upside down with the damn wax melted all over my concrete patio.

i tell em all the time not to touch my tools too, but one of these days i know we are going to end up in the ER for lacerations and or stitches. these are my step kids. since their mom worked a lot they were cared for by other folks.

my son is 2 and we are always saying no sternly, and he backs off whatever he wants to mess with. i am not sure i will have the same issue with him to near the extreme i do with the other 2.

its kinda funny but i have to preempt everything with these 2 kids. my wife and i have to say, well should we by this or do that, hmmmmm nope because the kids will do this or that to whatever. its totally insane.

but i digress the skeeter vac is cool, but expensive, and somehow i picture the kids f@@king with it like its a new toy or something. we had thought about planting lemon grass around the patio. supposedly the citrus smell keeps em away. any other ideas besides bats, tho i know they are helpful critters. my wife will get wierded out by em.,
