What transmission to use in 66 Barracuda?

Hi, I have a 66 barracuda with a slant 6 and I'm planning on putting in a 273, I already have the engine and automatic transmission, but I'd way rather have a 4 or 5 speed. I'm pretty sure the transmissions from the 3.9 and 5.2 dakotas/rams will work. Can anybody confirm this? I'm sure this has been asked lot's of times before, but I don't feel like looking through 400+ pages. Thanks.
