I just did the swap on mine, and that's what I would suggest. There are multiple threads about it if you do a search.
I got the clips/screws you need on ebay, windshield gaskets there too. I had the trim off a 69 from a prev part out. You can find the trim used here on FABO or some parts places have refurbished I think...
