Yeah only going with the 1/2" no mini tub. So i will stay with what i have then. Thanks, was just going to try the old school look. lol I could fit a 15x10 wheel and a 285/60x15 Mcreary dirt tire then?
Yeah without a mini-tub the only way you'd fit a 12.65" section is if they hang out of the quarters. Which is ok if the rear end of the car is kicked way up.
You should be able to fit a 285 though, at least on the width. A 285/60/15 is 28.5" tall, so you may have to do a little work to make sure your axle is centered front-back in the wheel well. If you have an A-body rear, you'll want pretty close to 0 offset, just a little more backspace because of the 1/2" offset. For a 10" rim I'd be looking for about 5.75" of backspace, maybe up to about 6". I wouldn't go much less than 5.75, you can always add a small spacer if its too much.
