X & H pipe vs straight dual exhaust

this design is a mix of both the X pipe crossover and the H pipe inner designed to even out the pressure to both sides, this is whats gong on my cuda this next weekend. Hope it works like they say but just using it to even pressure and pitch not worried about the extra H they claim.

after reading all this, and from my own experiance, the H pipe was included in some factory cars for sound reduction, as the big engines didn`t need any more low end torque. the x pipe may help a smaller horse power motor, but I don`t believe it will do anything but add weight to a monster motor or big stroker set up. I fired my 505 for the first time w/ my home made dual 3 1/2" set up, it wasn`t any louder than my old 600 horse 406 sbc., other than having a big engine sound. didn`t make but one run in cycle due to a valve train noise . (parts on order)---just my 2 cents
