in the ram the pan is just hangin out in the open, i dont even think you have to lift the engine, thats a 2 hr job tops, including dry time if using right stuff (15 min)
On my 04 4wd I had to raise the engine, pan wouldn't clear k frame and oil pick up otherwise. The pan gasket is a silicone gasket that's bonded to the windage tray as a single unit.
