My RAM, oil pan and rust....

grassy, Thank you for the compliment on my Duster.

As far as this oil pan thing goes, I really hate to say it BUT I, believe it's a Chrysler thing (poor quality metal). A few of my friends have had the same problem be it the Ram or Dakota. The problem with trying to fix your old pan is getting it clean enough so the repair will stick. But I'm almost positive, when you start cleaning it your sure to find more rust and weak spots.
