Very long story; I'll be messed up for a while, but lucky to be alive

Heck of a way to get a ride on Air Care, but unfortunately it's the only way.
You can't make me say anything bad about U.C.'s trauma teams. They fixed my hand after it was blown up several years ago. Can't even tell it was burned so bad now.
Just do what they say and keep the spirits high. It sucks being hurt, but it sucks more being dead.
BTW where did you have your accident? I had heard something about a charity ride where someone got hurt up near Harrison, was that you?
