Torn Bicep Tendon

I'm not. $$$$$$$$$$$$ I had trigger finger. They wanted to inject and then after a series of questions I posed they told me they would do 1-2 injections that might provide temporary relief and ultimately I'd get surgery. SP WHY NOT CUT TO THE CHASE AND SAVE TIME GRIEF AND MONEY. Ended up working with my massage therapist who remarkably was able to fix it permanently. Her treatment on it hurt so bad it would make me sweat...but it worked. Being a doctor is an occupation like any other and in the US they treat symptoms first and the cause, if you are lucky, second. Again $$$$$$$

I suffer form that. Hurts like a sumofabeech....Had carpal tunnel surgery on both sides a while back. Surgeon said he would not be surprised if he had to go back into my hands again...if I remember correctly trigger finger is often caused by the pads in your hands being excessively thick. Between the thick pads and scar tissue from the surgery it is almost like I have carpal tunnel again. I can't even close my left hand into a fist anymore....my right hand is not that much better.

Hopefully the op's bicep tendon has more than a few fibers still holding it on. If not they may just have to snip it like they did to mine. The other day I was standing in line at HF with a 10 pound spool of mig wire in my hand. Had my arm curled so that the spool was pinned between my body and hand...in under a minute my bicep started twitching and the pain increased noticeably.

I was told by my surgeon that often times when they take images of a shoulder that they are not all that helpful....often times when they go into shoulder they will find more damage than what showed up on the images...and sometimes stuff that did not even show up. Good Luck Sir...
