All of the above. That being said, keep in mind that lacquer is not very chemical resistant or very durable(crazing and checking), and requires lots of maintenance. Very labor intensive way to paint a car. Modern base coats are made to accept clear coats and less prone to delamination. If you want that wet look finish ,step up to a product than can produce that.

There used to be a product called retarder available for lacquer that really slows down the dry time and will help with humidity/blushing' Haven't used lacquer in years but I remember most reducing 1 part paint to 2 parts thinner.

Ask a local paint jobber if they have any mis-mixed paint sitting around you could have to play with. Sometimes one will be happy to give it away to avoid disposal fees.
