2x4 barrel vs 1x4 barrel

simple, use the one with 2 carbs,fueldistribution will be alot better. you will also have way better driveability with the ability to run on much smaller primarys during cruising conditions. as for the tuningpart,its not hard at all,just look at the two carbs as one giant carb.

Bingo! The fuel has to travel much further to get to the first and last 2 cylinders if a single carb is centrally located on the TR. I've had it explained like this:
