redneck kick down linkage

Just make sure that the kickdown lever at the trans is in the full forward position when the throttle is closed. About the only thing I would change is to replace the spring on the kickdown linkage with a shorter one that would hold the linkage in the full forward position once the free end of the spring is connected to the throttle linkage stud. Sorry to take up 2 posts but my coffee hasn't kicked in yet...
