I know nobody cares about my opinion, but I'm going to share it anyway. I can personally see both sides of this argument. I love a good story, and the more sensational the better. However, I would prefer to hear the "actual" events as opposed to one "based" on a true story. That's how rumors and myths get started, and people's actual deeds get lost in the shadows of all the hype. You know, like the one that said Mr. Rogers' arms were covered with tattoos and that he was actually a Marine sniper with hundreds of confirmed kills.
That being said, it seems a little petty to rag on someone who raises questions about the validity of a story. I mean, I agree that he could have done it with a little more tact instead of immediately calling bullshit, but that's beside the point. Fact of the matter is that he has just as much right to post what he did as the OP had in posting the original story in the first place. Attacking him for it is not necessary. That's the kind of **** you'd expect to see in the News and Politics forum. Or junior high.
