Pretty good turnout locally even in the rain, but having two big propositions on the local ballot probably has a lot to do with it.

I got lucky. I requested an absentee ballot because I was supposed to be out of town on election day. I realized later that I could have early voted instead. Thank goodness I did though because I never got a chance to early vote because of the accident.

That's too bad. Voting is one of the most important privileges we have as Citizens, and one of the most sacred. Far too many people think it's isn't important or that your single vote won't make a difference. That's completely wrong. It really does count.

I dropped my ballots off so I wouldn't have to listen to the bitching and complaining in line again this time around! Besides its dang cold in Colorado today!
Done deal, I was talking to a couple of co-workers today and they said they only vote in presidential elections.
I came right back and said the president has a hard time doing anything without the support of congress, senate etc.
