Required songs to listen to while working on your Mopar !!!

I am a musician by trade, bluegrass is my current game, but I love zydeco, most older rock, and any genre with interesting attributes, but I really prefer it to be a live recording as opposed to the studio version! Put on The Rolling Stones "Get Yer Ya Ya's Out" , The Doors "Absolutely Live", or The Who's "Live at Leeds" album, you get a firsthand blast of what they sounded like in their day, and with nothing to hide behind but their instruments!! Even today with YouTube going, you get a real good idea of who can still hold their own and why! Probably why Plant doesn't want to jam with Zep for 800 mil, he can't do it justice enough to please his ego, oh...and he doesn't need the money!!

Anyway, one of my all time faves in any style is Tony Rice! Now disabled enough not to even be able to play, he was just an amazing guitarist and vocalist, with lightning fast picking, and he never plays the same thing twice! He's in a class by himself, so much so that Eric Clapton called him the greatest guitar player he knew!! Pick anything of his live, especially something fast like Nine Pound Hammer, and you'll be wondering how the heck he pulls so many crystal clear notes out of his guitar so darned quick!

Enjoy all, no matter what yer listening to!! Geof
