Newbie question on fender interchangeability

Ok, forgive me but I'm a newb...
Found a straight front left fender from a 70 duster on CL today. Wanting to know how it would if at all, interchange with my 74 scamp. Quick clance, they appear the same. But I thought I better ask the experts.

headlight house is part of the fender. I think you'll find that how that headlight house marries up with the radiator support is different.

The wheel opening is also different on Darts and Dusters.

Dusters and Scamps are both in reality Plymouth Valiants and share the same wheel opening lip. Dodge Darts have a different opening.

Side marker is different as well.

Thanks guys for the guidance. You saved me a lot of headaches and cash.
I am happy to report that I scored not only a straight rust free fender but a bumper as well this weekend off of a 74 valiant. Very happy camper right here!
