Hello Everyone

Finally I get to put a post on here.

I have attached a picture of my 1970 340 Valiant Duster

It is a numbers matching original 340 car with build sheet. It is a real nice example and I have owned it since 1999. 15 years of bliss!

I had a '74 Gold Duster way back in my early 20's which came with a 225 slant which I converted to a 273 out of an Australian Valiant! and then swapped that and dropped in a 360. I always regretted selling that car but what I replaced it with in my view is way better. This is a proper one and I am a very proud owner. I only take it out when it's dry in the summer months.

I thought it would be nice to have a record of it on this A body site as otherwise it will probably never be logged especially as I am so far from the USA.

I would really love to know if there is another original factory 340 vitamin C Orange Duster out there in the same condition as this.

Thanks for reading my post

Greetings from England

Very nice! Welcome to FABO. I had a 1970 340 Valiant Duster back in college, wish I still had it.

Welcome, I had a 1970 Duster 340 in that color back in the 80's, but sold it years ago.

Welcome! That is a sweet Duster. I currently have a EV2 colored 70 H code Dart Swinger, love that color LOL...

Dave,

A big welcome from the over here in the USA Antony ! Love your Duster !

Agree with all of the above, very nice Duster Antony. Love to see more pics of it.

Hey neighbor, nice ride! The car I have yet to post pics of is the only A-body I have ever owned its a factory 1969 M code 440 "cuda" auto 8.75 with factory 3.55 gears, I am a B and E-body guy with BIG motors aka 426 HEMI's and 440's! Living now in Glasgow Scotland so welcome to the forum.

Great looking car. Congratulations to the 15 yr anniversary. Good to have you here.

Thank you to everyone that has offered me a warm welcome. Dusty will most probably sit now in the nice warm dry garage until spring, unless there is a window of opportunity sooner. I will try and get some more shots put on here for all to see. You all have some great cars too and I can feel your passion which is great.
I would still love to see if there is another '70 340 in vit C like this one out there somewhere. I can't believe this is the only one left. Not sure how many were made in the first year, I think I heard about 25'000 but not all were 340's or orange, anyone know?
Cheers Antony
