Improving 60ft time?
Hey guys I was wanting some opinions on what to do to try and improve my 60ft times. I'm running 1.7 and 1.8 for 60ft, it's a 65 valiant, about 3100lbs it has sub frame connectors, I'm using 90/10 shocks up front, a tall pinion snubber, I have been using spring clamps in the rear, Its got 26x9 Hoosier QTP's that are a about 3 years old it doesn't feel like it's spinning but I haven't had anyone back at the start to see what's going on. I do have a set of slide a links (comp engineering cal tracks) that I will be putting on to see if that helps and some new tires also. Is there anything else's I might need to look at? The car is a small block with a 727 the converter flashes at 3800. I'm running 4.10 gear in the rear. We have Dyno tuned it to 369hp and 343tq the car runs fair for a stock stroke small block but I'm just getting used to it and want more ya know? Best ET is 12.06 at 108 or 110 if I remember correctly.
