The Rear Tail-Light lense covers from this Belvedere were switched
out to a set from the 'Belvedere II/Satellite' that came thru with
Bright-Metal bars over the red lens covers.

'The Skinny'
In 1969, the NHRA factored the 426 Street Hemi at 475 HP.
This Belvedere > #4100 lbs. ~ 475 HP came in with a 8.63 Wt/Hp.
In 1969, the NHRA changed up the Weight/Break for the Super Stock
Classes.
SS/G = 8.50 to 8.99 Wt/HP
1969 NHRA National Records
* SS/G ...... 11.65
* SS/GA .... 11.91
Suddenly, the 1966 Belvedere '426 Street Hemi' Station Wagon
became a desired car for SS/G or SS/GA.
But, since there were only a few of these 1966 Mammoth's built,
they were 'not' eligible for 1969 Stock Class {C/S or C/SA}.
