Brazilian Dodge Dart 76 (similar to 69 usa)
Alex; Have spent the last week or so going through your thread. First let me say that like many others I am very impressed. You have more ingenuity than any three people I know and I know a lot of people with ingenuity. You've inspired me to get back in gear on my restoration which is almost complete after 22 years, yes you read that right, 22 years. I've gotten sidetracked and discouraged more times than I care to admit to. Keep up the good work and never give up, ever! As for those headers, if it were me I would nix the idea. Putting headers on an A body is the biggest pain in the a-- that I can think of. If memory serves me correctly the best way to install them is to jack the engine up I believe on the drivers side first, at an angle and once you have the header in between that tight space none as the torsion bar you will have to let the engine down to rest on the header. Make sure it is bolted up loosely, than lift the passenger side of the engine and hope like h--l you can squeeze the header down between the torsion bar. You will have to lift the engine rather high
as I recall. Anyway, good luck and hope to see you get this finished.
