You have to figure that the ONLY thing that matters is HP. The giant hole in horsepower on a street car from 2000 to about 4800 between an air gap and victor/SD is nothing to be concerned with. :)
HP only matters depending on the arena you are playing in. Ask a big rig driver. :) You can't have hp without tq... one is measured the other is calculated. But the condescending one is so much smarter than everyone else he already knew that. How is it that a car that had a 340 it ran teh same MPH as a 408, but the 408 got to the stripe a lot quicker. Oh, maybe it's the 408 makers more tq and thus a byproduct, HP throughout the range. The combination of equipment makes a bit of difference.
My LD340'd Dart in the 80's would have handed your SD equipped 318 it's rear with a much smaller camshaft, but, HP is all that matters... I'd have enjoyed all your beer money. LMAO
