Small block intake ?
Late model engines with dual plane intakes, Hummmm, what is a late model to you?
The fix and standard operation a single plane and F.I. But you knew that.
Your comment is stupid because it ignores the posters post. Pay attention!
I've been doing similar stuff for a few decades as well. I'm no stranger to what works, how it works and why. Do NOT flatter yourself. We have had more than just a few actual racers run the RPM vs. various single planes that range from the Torker series to the M1 single and Victor intakes.
For these fellas, the RPM stayed on top and the single planes were removed because the single plane was slower! Locomotion can tell you what worked on "His combo." And it ain't a single plane.
You say I follow the heard. Perhaps to a degree, yea I do, because the heard I'm following uses what Works best. Which is combo dependent. I still have my M1 single plane, an LD-340, M1 Tunnel Ram, and a few others. They all have there place.
Perhaps what you should do is purchase a slew of intakes for experimental useage. (Like I did and will do again) and see how they work, the way they work and figure out why they work in that way.
Your screen name is "Mad Scientist" right?
Well, so far you have shown "Mad" as in angry and /or crazy.
Now go show off the scientist!
