Well count Hot Rod and their intake dyno test as part of the herd too. They tested five intakes on the same engine. the Air Gap was one, and they used your Strip Dominator as well.
You wanna take a guess what intake outperformed the other?
That intake that you call a "hi rise stocker" outperformed your favorite intake in every category except peak HP.
Before you say, "WELL, SEE THERE", let me tell you how much more HP the Strip Dominator made.
ONE!!!! ONE MORE FREAKING HP THAN A "HI RISE STOCKER".
Now, let me tell you the rest.
The Air Gaps average HP from 3100-6300 rpm was over 6 more HP than the Strip Dominators.
We wont even talk about the torque numbers. You would be mad on that as well.
I believe Hot Rod wrote that the Air Gap "took no prisoners" or something along those lines.
So, we all will "stay in the herd". You enjoy the view of the herd from behind!
