Veterans On the Board

US Air Force 1965. Basic at Lackland and then off to Syracuse University for nine months, five days a week of intensive Russian Language classes. Off to Goodfellow AFB in San Angelo, Texas for a few months of Voice Intercept Processing school, then to Aircrew Survival course at Faichild AFB, Washington. Got sent to Eielsen AFB, Alaska and flew many missions from there in RC-135 aircraft. Guess where we flew. Also got the opportunity to participate in Arctic survival course in Alaska in February. Warm days are nonexistent in Alaska in February. One tour was enough for me.
