Improving 60ft time?

one idea that comes to mind is the use of a gasket as thin as possible (1/16 in.) between the carb and intake, maximizing torque in that aspect.
a locked-timing distributor might help on take-off too.
removal of the air cleaner at the track will make a difference also.
this mod would be for a street car that you drive to the track, not a race car.
i can see you are looking at suspension tips but i had to let you know about these mods.
maybe this is all too ``old school`` and you already know about it.
