I did it with a hand drill. Would certainly be easier with a drill press. Precision of these holes is not real critical, as the pins are expanding "roll pins" and will expand into whatever hole size is there (within reason). I used a couple slightly smaller cobalt bits to drill thru first, then reamed them to size with the bit that Borgeson supplied. Do one hole complete and install the pin. Then do the other one. Make sure you have everything lined up correctly before starting!
Note: I am not sure that every u-joint made has room for these pins. p/n 013464 may not have room for the pins... and I don' think that's what I am using now because I have the late model GM box in my car and it needed a different/special u-joint. I would suggest calling Borgeson to make sure you get the right one.
