Drag Racing is Dying

Wow!! When I started this thread I didn't think it would go the direction it did. But, back to the OP, I just see a downward trend. I have Muncie Dragway 40 miles away from me. I've seen it packed on money nights, and almost deserted on test-n-tune sessions. I've been involved in drag racing since I was a kid going to help dad race his '55 Chevy B/G gasser. I will continue to be involved till they chain the last gate on the last track. My daughter wants to get involved, and I'm hoping she'll get a chance to run when she turns 16 in 2 years.
As far as street racing, I quit that long ago. I don't even street my hot rods, since it's such a big temptation for me. If I got caught, I'm sure my badge would be history.
