I agree with 6pak2go, with a 3.91 gear run a 26x8 or 8.5 or 9 inch slick to keep the rpm's up through the traps. Air the slicks up to 18 to 20 pounds, you want the slicks to turn 1 to 2 revolutions so come out about 1000 rpm below red line if you come out to low and or with too little air in slicks and you dead hook you will break something. This advice is only for stick cars, automatics are a whole different animal.
