I have a 1970 Dodge Dart custom sedan w/225 slant. I have been in the process of changing all the suspension this past week...the leaf spring bushing are holding me up. I've ordered them twice from different places and I keep getting the same size. The problem is the leaf spring eye on mine is 1.5" dia. and I keep getting 1.375" dia. and I know the V8 model has a 2" dia. Whats up with this? Any ideas why I have a 1.5" eye and what part number for the correct bushing.

I did some looking thru different vehicles and found that a 85 jeep cj7 has 1.5 dia bushings which I may try if nobody has any info.

Stengel Brothers sell every size and type of spring bushing there is, or ever was. You order by size; so just measure the length of bushing, the diameter, obviously, and the bolt size you want, and order up. Their prices are reasonable and service is good. I've used them for years.

74 dart se, turns out it had a tow package with the heavier springs I guess. I ended up going to a spring rebuilder to get mine. The only non poly on the car.

I have a set of Energy Suspension poly I will sell if interested. They are 1.5" front with sleeves for half inch bolt. Includes the 8 7/8" shackle bushings. $50 and I will cover the shipping. I just got the correct 2" ones for my car...

My email didn't update me on this thread til today for some reason and I didn't see all the replies til now. I got a set of the Jeep bushings in and they're the correct size. I ordered a set of Energy Suspension bushing as well and hopefully those will fit so I can stick with the urethane . SORRY zkx14 I would have bought them off you but like I said just got updated and I already ordered some.

My bad too- should have PMd you. Hope you got everything you need now.
