**73 Scamp Mini Pro-Street Engine Swap**
Finally got the brakes bled correctly. No need to use a residual valve in the line. I had to do just like Cass said. I bled all the top bleeders on the rear brakes first... Pedal still sucked. Unbolted the calipers and slid them around on the rotor and zip tied them up so they would not move as the BOTTOM bleeders were now on the top...... Holy bageebers batman we had an air show!
The pedal was totally different, we had a lot of pedal. Moved onto the fronts and after those were done we had MEGA pedal! Tires on all 4 corners went on after that.
I replaced the springs in the rear with 150's and ran the spanner up 1" on each side where we were before. Car sat perfect in the sweet zone of the shocks..... we then rolled the car up on the scales and Pete quickly went to work doing a base tune on the suspension "Yes I was in the car with my Helmet, Jacket etc.... Done! Car is ready for alignment this time for sure.
While Pete was here we did some measuring for the tires. He said the Hoosier's are no good and lets see if we can get a set of MT's to fit. After a few minutes and searching on the web. He came up with MT 3055's "28x10.5x15" that should fit no problem. I called summit and changed the exchange for the MT's instead of the Hoosier's.
We went to lunch, Pete left. I fired the car up and rolled it out on the driveway. The car has not seen daylight in 90 days or so and needs a bath bad!
