You can "massage" them a bit with a grinder, I think I took about .030 off mine and there was plenty of meat left. You will also want to check the pushrod angle and the amount of threads showing on the adjusters when you get the top end together. Most likely you could benefit form shimming the rocker shafts, every mopar la engine I have done needed it and it created a much better valve train geometry and a touch more rocker to spring clearance.
