OUCH! I had a couple eye scratches once and it bothered the hell outta me. Doc gave me something, cant remember what, but I was fine in a couple days.

Having my typical breakfast, coffee and plain Cheerios..LOL cereal selection is limited being diabetic.

Ouch for sure. Keep those drops going and keep it clean. My Mom scratched her cornea a few weeks ago and ended up with Mrsa which is a nasty staph infection. Because her eyes were mattering she wiped them often with a Kleenex. Well the Mrsa bacteria is in your nose and was spread by blowing her nose and using the same tissue to wipe her eyes. The bacteria got in the scratch and caused the infection.
