This is a good question, and I'm not even sure I have an answer. I have a sawzall and got this with the thinking that the blade wouldn't travel as long as with the body saw. I bought it to use on my inner fenders and I was thinking that when I'm cutting on them, the blade might bottom out on structure support or frame. I'm hoping to learn to use this saw, maybe be able to angle it down along the cut line to keep the blade shallow. I will probably also be using a cut off wheel to get this work done.
