I'm looking for a piece of dash trim for my 1967 Barracuda. I need the plastic chrome piece from the lower third of the glove box door, the piece with the Barracuda script. I'm ready to buy the whole glove box door, if need be. I don't really need the door, so if you've got one laying around without a latch or otherwise in bad condition, I don't mind, as long as the trim is OK. In fact, I don't even mind if the fish emblem or the script is missing.

Post a reply or PM if you've got something. Thanks!

Here's the situation I'm trying to rectify. You'll see the previous owner's massacre of the dash and the installation of a '80s-ish JVC stereo cassette player. Also notice the crack in the corner of the dash bezel on the right.

My plan is to replace the radio with a RetroSound unit and a chrome bezel. Not perfect, but better. "While I'm at it" (a dangerous phrase!) I'm thinking about splicing in a new piece of dash chrome to the right of the radio, to replace the cracked corner. A piece of trim from a glove box would be the perfect fit.

A crazy plan, I know, but it just might work! (And save me from shelling out big for a repro dash bezel.)
