no needs for a conversion mount. you just need the factory v-8 mounts. the k-frame is the same for a slant and a v-8 in an early abody.

if you can't find nice used mounts then you can get them new from schumacher. http://engine-swaps.com/Pages/ProductsYear/63.66aBody.html

exhaust is the other pain in the ***. this is what the factory manifolds look like. http://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/showthread.php?t=271974

i know other manifolds will fit in there but with power steering it it may be tough to find a set that fit other then the original type..

do you have a v-8 trans yet? if not you need one of those also because the slant 6 one will not bolt to a v-8. do your self a favor and stay with a 904. it fits those cars a little better.. does that car have a push button automatic? if so you may need to get an aftermarket shifter for it too. a v-8 pushbutton 904 is getting harder and harder to find...

Hi, had a cash flow problem 4 6 months....I have 4 of the manifolds and just trying to be correct on the conversion kit...going from my slant 6 to a built 318 that is done now..$3400.00!!!!!!! info is appreciated...walt 1-989-871-4110 michigan

my car runs a 904 automatic, 1993 dodge dakota v8 manifold (other years work just fine) the part where it bolts onto the head is plained down quite abit, 1/4" comes to mind but I forget, 2 washer shims under biscuit engine mount on drivers side and nothing hits with factory power steering

You run a Dakota manifold on a 64 dart ? I would like to see pictures of that, Cause no-one else has been able to do that.

All very good/been there/done that info posted! I would HIGHLY suggest that you locate a set of the early (92/early 93) magnum ex manifolds as they have a ~2&1/4" outlet whereas the later mag manifolds look identical but have a 1&7/8 outlet. A set of the early good ones will run you $100 & are well worth it as that is specifically what you need for your early A/sb swap. I'd place want ads here and Moparts and your local CL, you'll find a set. As said notch/reweld the trans crossmember so the pipe on the pass side will tuck up nicely. use an alum water pump if your rad has the lower nipple on the pass side. it's wider (front to rear so pulley depth/spacing will need adjusting. You'll see when you get to that point. the later (67 & up) cable throttle/gas pedal assy will bolt in with only a drilled hole or two if you cannot locate the somewhat rare early V8 one. get a later one from a V8
