Stop in for a cup of coffee

I had to deal with that in the first home I ever owned. I got frustrated trying to figure it out. We sold it!

This is my third house and by far the oldest. In Ny we bought and 1890's Colonial and did a ton of work to it that was a pain in the but. This house we bought as a challenge to fix up. It was vacant for around 8 yrs, built in 1802 and owned by a contractor that used whatever he had to do repairs. I am always joking around that I got LONGED again when I find something (his last name is Long). Getting sick really put a dampener on it. So far I changed one outside wall, three room floors were cut out and rebuilt, re did the upstairs bathroom when my son fell through the floor ( Water rot because the pvc was not glued together for the tub drain) A new well, tons of fence work outside, a new metal roof, But I still think the house is great. The best part in a way is there are no existing plans to the house due to its age and can do anything I want to it without a permit. The biggest pain in the *** is when you do a proper repair that is straight and plumb it looks weird because that it is the only thing level in the area.
