Roadrunner or Not

In 30+ years of driving I've been pulled over a dozen or so times & only once did they check the VIN but that's not the point. You'd be driving an illegal car & that would bother most people. If you were driving a stolen car that would probably bother you despite the probability you would not be pulled over. Personally I would never buy a car without a VIN or even the lesser case of a reissued VIN, just not worth the hassle. I once passed on a fabulous '71 RR with 440+6 at Carlisle with a very low price but it was previously stolen & had all VINs removed & replaced with DOT reissued ones.
