I went to Twist & Shout Records about a year and a half ago to pick up a few albums.
I was looking for Get Color by HEALTH, some fIREHOSE, a replacement for my Dead Milkmen Big Lizard cracked disc and Crystal Castles III.
When I walked into the store, they were playing a secret show in the back.
Needless to say, I flipped out right as I walked in, when I recognized them and they started in on Never Again. That may have been one of the coolest live show experiences I've ever had. I've been a fan of theirs for a while and had some tunes I purchased of theirs from Amazon, up until that point.
I bought one of each of their albums and had them signed. They are some of the friendliest musicians I've ever met.
I'm a firm believer that there is amazing music hiding in all corners of what the world has to offer.
