USPS has........

Excuse me, sir. I am simply telling it like it was told to me by the post office.
Oh, I don't doubt for a second that you were told that!
I've heard Post Masters and Clerks straight lie to people about things at the counter to get them to leave.
And you no doubt have a piece of paper with a delivery to a improper zip code.
What I'm saying is, when the actual mail carrier on the street, is out delivering mail, he/she isn't leaving your package that should be going to you in Georgia to a house in Kansas. Your package may have wound up in the wrong sorting line and was sent to the wrong post office, but it didn't hit the street. The carrier wouldn't be able to deliver it for several reasons. When scanned it would come back as no such street, no such number, or the zip would be bad for that mail route.
So, if you go there and they tell you they had the package there, but they returned it, you call bullshit on them. They have parcel lockers for oversize packages and they can leave a notice in your PO Box for anything that is larger than the locker. I have a PO Box also, the lazy *** clerk tried that crap with me at my PO until she found out I'm a retired carrier and made a couple calls. I don't like doing that kind of stuff, but it's people like this that give the rest of us a bad rep.
