In the land downunder, Australia, Chrysler used oil through pushods in all their small blocks. This was to improve reliability and reduce wear in the upper valve train. If I was the OP, I'd get some extra oil throughs and run them on all the lifters. It's a factory improvement to the valve train.

What a wonderful bit of trivia. I just happen to live in the USA, as do 99% of the posters here, including the OP, and his engine, and his car. And have never seen a Land Down Under LA engine. Next time I post anything I'll make sure I put "IN THE USA" in any statements I make just to keep clowns like you off my back.
