HDK Installation and Driving Experiences

I have a HDK headed my way! I do have a question about the steering shaft. Does anyone run a support bearing around the shaft between the column and the steering rack? Does anyone have detailed pictures of how they modded the column to fit? I have a few ideas how to do mine but would like to see what everyone else is doing.
