I think there are to many variables to say for sure without testing. And to be honest everytime i try to make a job quicker and easier by avoiding extrawork it ends up a royal pain in the ***,therefore just lift the engine out of the car and hang it in a enginestand and take your time my experience says that you will save time by doing the extra work(consider that this advice comes from murphys best friend).
