1971 Plymouth Valiant
1971 PLYMOUTH VALIANT. RUNS & DRIVES. Still drive it to my friends house which is about 30 minutes away and I go around 50-60 mph. Has 3.7L 225 slant 6 engine original never rebuilt & auto trans.
Had a rebuilt carburetor put in & some work done on the transmission last summer. Has a pretty new dash pad I put in about 1 & 1/2 years ago. Has Kenwood speakers & stereo w/removable faceplate, sounds good. Has good tires w/ a good amount of tread left & same size spare. Put a new battery in recently which has a 2-year warranty. Recently had a catalytic converter put on.
Primer gray except hood. Has heater but NO A/C. Headlights, brake lights, & front blinkers work. Rear blinkers and side lights do not work. Not exactly sure how many miles it has. The odometer says 28,582 but I'm sure its gone around at least once and the odometer wasn't working for a few months.
Radiator has a leak & may need to be replaced before summer. Doesn't have headliner cause I took out old one cause it was dry & ripping. Have seat covers on right now cause there's some rips & tears & the last owner put duct tape on them. Not perfect but gets me where I need to go.
