Bill, congrats on the 13 second pass. Impressive for the first time. Hope you get the transmission fixed before the Centerville race.
The Hellcat is a fantastic car.
The Lancer also can turn right and left at the end of the shutdown area but not as fast as the Hellcat.
$60,000 really. This Lancer was homebuilt as a hobby by three guys. I will take a 50% loss on that $60,000 if you want to buy it.

I am working toward geting the transmission fixed as soon as possible. I have several friends who make their living bulding automatic transmissions for drag cars, and none of them have a clue about what is wrong to make it act like it does; NO park pawl engagement in Park, no neutral; wants to drive the car forward in any selector position, and of course, won't back up. no matter what position the selector is in. The transmission is coming out next week and will be taken by me, to Searcy to the guy who buiilt it, for disassembly, analysis and repair,

This wasn't supposed to happen... 904's are usually dead-reliable, in my experience. I have one in my '72 Valiant which is behind a 500hp Vortech-supercharged 360 Magnum, that has been in there for 10 years of hard street driving (A mid 11- second car,) and shifts as well as it did the day I installed it.

GRRRR.....
